Silky Soft Light Weight & Airy

We have just launched our new super soft luxury poly. It imitates silk but has a matt look it is super soft to the touch. It's a perfect alternative to silk yes, it is not a natural but a great alternative. Our industry has become so price conscious that most of our customers cannot afford to buy naturals or luxury items such as silk. I have made a dress with this new fabric and it feels so gorgeous to wear. It is not see-through even though it is light in weight. It has a 2% stretch which gives it a gorgeous drape. What I found most astonishing is even though it is a polyester it was totally breathable as I did not feel clammy or hot. Why do you think this is? Could it be that the small percentage of elastic within a 98% polyester makes the fabric breathable? I would love to hear your feedback and comments.
